Lemon Arbour

Let’s get this out of the way now. It’s actually called The Village (and it’s in Lemon Arbour) but everyone calls it Lemon Arbour so that’s exactly what we’re going to do here. The food is insane. Go on a Saturday and anything could happen. People have been there and spoken of how not much happened… Others rave about how it went from an easy BBQ into a brilliant night out that just never ended.

It’s a rum shop with plastic furniture (like most of them) that makes the most incredible BBQ’d everything. The pork is ridiculous and the ribs aren’t just bones-in-sauce… They’re meaty and full of magic porky-goodness! Everything comes served in a polystyrene box and there is really no need to wonder what the sides are like. You can even have conch. You’ll hear that conch isn’t very nice and it’s very chewy but the chefs at Lemon Arbour have turned it into a delight.

The bar is hilariously well-supplied with Champagnes you couldn’t normally find anywhere else on the island and vodkas and whiskeys to your heart’s content. Go, indulge and never stop talking about it.
