In Holetown, opposite Limegrove, is this little breakfast treasure. The menu isn’t very complicated because it’s mainly a full-English broken down into parts so it had to be down to delivery and deliver they did. First up, the sausages were probably the best sausages to date. Then the eggs were perfectly scrambled and heaped in a dome-shape. The pancakes are worth a shot too just because pancakes aren’t everywhere in Barbados and when was the last time you had some anyway?!
The garden area is quaint and the waitresses were very friendly and attentive. It really was a perfect way to start the day before walking around the corner to sit on the beach. Easy like Sunday morning.
Cafe Flindt usually has cooking classes from sushi making to dessert specialties. They’re not the cheapest evenings but they’re good fun…Unless you’re serious about being serious… Then it’s less fun.
But to the crux of the matter Patisserie Flindt is famous for it’s patisseries and there’s a mixed bag of everything but it’s as consistent a place as you could hope for. They pull birthday cakes out of thin air and they’re ready to personalise it all and make it amazing… Which at the day makes you feel valued. So good on you Flindty.
Sometimes stuff can be bland and you will hear equal numbers of people talk about how good or bad it is but one thing is certain, everyone has an opinion. Our humble opinion? They’ve filled a wide gap that needed to be filled. Perfect.
